Course Overview

An immersive course that equips participants with theoretical and practical knowledge to lead and thrive in the changing world of work.

Effective leadership practice is required to support individuals and teams. Being equipped with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours to manage and lead effectively is essential if an individual and their organisation are to succeed.

The course will develop managers’ understanding of the difference between leadership and management and how to ensure they play the vital role necessary to support the achievement of organisational objectives with several practical applications throughout the day.

Certification

On successful completion of this course, you will be awarded a CMI recognised course certificate. This is not a qualification but uses the foundations from the CMI programme and qualification and is mapped against the extensive delivery standards required to satisfy the CMI.

With modern working environments, it is important that the modern manager understand how to execute core management skills in order to manage and motivate their team to acheive optimum results.

The four main functions of management - planning, organising, leading and controlling/coordinating are explored in depth in this module as well as taking a deep dive into how managers can actively meet these responsibilities.

An interactive and emmersive module, encouraging engagement surrounding current management styles. Designed to get delegates thinking about who they are, how they plan to grow, the challenges they face as a manager and how can they upskill themselves to meet them.
